The Manhunt

O.M.G.

My street was blocked off. By police. And SWAT team personnel. They wouldn't let me go home because they were "looking for someone". The dialogue:

Me: (pulling up to several cruisers that have obviously blocked off my street)Um. Officer? I need to go to THAT house over there.

Officer: Sorry ma'am but we've closed the road.

Me: But I live right there. Is everything okay?

Officer: Everything's fine. There's no immediate danger. We're just looking for someone.

Me: Must be a pretty important somebody.

Officer: You can turn around now.

Two hours, 15 cruisers and a huge armored vehicle later and all seems to be well in our small town.

But seriously, it must've been some serious manhunt to call police officers and armed guards from THREE NEIGHBORING TOWNS in for support.
