Did you know that the Whippet can run up to 35 mph? That's faster than some cars can go. Come to think of it, isn't that the breed of dog that ran across the airport tarmac last year and was never found?

Yes! I was right! Vivi, a California whippet, got out of her shipping crate at JFK just after the Westminster Kennel Club show and more than a year later, has yet to be found. BUT, apparently she's been seen. Click here for more info.
