Rae Rae

The Rae Rae has started to talk. Which is a good thing and a marked improvement over the screeching that was heretofore her only method of verbal communications. Rae Rae's extensive vocabulary includes the following:
  • RaRa (Petra...you have to admit, it's not the easiest name for a 17-mos-old to say)
  • He...llo
  • Dank...Yuuuuu (Thank you)
  • Uuuuuuuuppppp (self-explanatory)
  • Mumma (me)
  • MummaDada (Natche)
  • Ca-cker (cracker)
  • Ouuuut (again, self-explanatory)
  • No No No (said in rapid succession with finger wagging)
  • NauNau (naughty...surprising she knows that word. I mean, she *never* hears it)
Don't get me wrong, we still get a ton of screeching, writhing baby-on-the-floor moments, but it's nice that she's starting to communicate verbally....well, with words.
