My Ears!

The following is actual dialogue from a conversation that took place this morning at 3:44am; all of us were in bed:

Natche: (snore) (snore) (snore even louder)

P: (pushing her father) "Daddy, I can't hear my ears. You keep making an 'oink oink' sound!"

Natche: (barely awake) "Whaa??? Hmmmm....What's going on???"

Me: (laughing hard because I know exactly what she's saying; trying to catch my breath) "She can't hear anything but your snoring. She keeps waking up. That's what she's trying to say."

P: (for emphasis because she hears me laughing so loudly)
"Dada, stop making the 'oink' noise!"

Natche: "Whaaa? I don't snore!"

Ha! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Seriously, it was one of the funniest exchanges ever.
