CONCORD, N.H. -- For the fourth straight year, New Hampshire has been named the "Most Livable State" in the nation in a national survey. Morgan Quinto Press listed New Hampshire as No. 1, based on economic, educational, health-oriented, crime and environmental statistics.
Governor John Lynch is beaming. He says the report reaffirms that New Hampshire is a great place to live and work. But he said the state still must work to improve the quality of education, strengthen the economy, make health care more accessible and affordable, protect natural resources and ensure public safety.
